Effective immediately, contracting officers shall use the attached clause 252.225-7995, Contractor Personnel Performing in the United States Central Command Area of Responsibility (DEVIATION 2017-O0004), in lieu of the clause at Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 252.225-7040, Contractor Personnel Supporting U.S. Armed Forces Deployed Outside the United States, in contracts that require performance in the United States Central Command area of responsibility.
This class deviation rescinds and supersedes Class Deviation 2015-O0009, dated January 12, 2015. The deviation includes changes at paragraph (g) of the deviation clause to require contractors to account for all contractor personnel in the Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker, regardless of contract value or length of performance.
This class deviation remains in effect until incorporated in the DFARS or otherwise rescinded.
